Abstract:
I will describe single neuron recordings in the human hippocampal formation and how neurons in this area form and store memories.I will also discuss how the coding by these neurons is completely different to what has been described in other species and how it may constitute a key aspect of human intelligence.

Rodrigo Quian Quiroga教授以大腦的記憶編碼和信息處理原理為主要研究方向,通過(guò)記錄不同任務(wù)時(shí)多個(gè)單神經(jīng)元電信號(hào)和局部場(chǎng)電位信號(hào),發(fā)現(xiàn)了僅對(duì)給定個(gè)體概念做出響應(yīng)的“概念細(xì)胞”(或“珍妮弗安妮斯頓神經(jīng)元”),揭示了人類大腦內(nèi)側(cè)顳葉區(qū)域創(chuàng)建和鞏固概念與陳述性長(zhǎng)期記憶的原理。Quian Quiroga教授多年來(lái)在Science、Nature、Ce1l等頂級(jí)雜志上發(fā)表多篇文章,研究受到《科學(xué)美國(guó)人》、《紐約時(shí)報(bào)》、《華盛頓郵報(bào)》等全球媒體的關(guān)注(e.g.Science,2019,Cell, 2019; Current Biology, 2020; TiCS, 2020:Nature Review Neuroscience., 2012: Scientific American, 2013),H指數(shù):64;引用:20000。Rodrigo Quian Quiroga現(xiàn)任上海交通大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院附屬瑞金醫(yī)院廣慈教授,入選英國(guó)醫(yī)學(xué)科學(xué)院院士、國(guó)家高層次人才計(jì)劃、長(zhǎng)江講席教授等項(xiàng)目。
